🚨🇮🇷🇨🇳 For 10 years, Europe and Japan have been stepping back from oil.
China and India have been sprinting toward it.
Then Iran closed the strait carrying 80% of Asia's energy imports.
The countries driving tomorrow's demand are the ones most exposed to today's crisis.

@JakeWSimons Clueless.
China and India take Iranian oil. If you cut off their oil they will inevitably be drawn into conflict.
Israel/USA illegal war of aggression has been a complete disaster.
Both will have to surrender to Iran

This post by Donald Trump indicates that regime change is his goal. In it, he confirms that he doesn't want to authorise the destruction of South Pars “because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran”.
Analysts have been closely watching for signs of such American reluctance. This would suggest that the White House was envisioning a country after the Mullahs, one which would need its natural resources to rebuild.
By contrast, if the US simply wanted to degrade the regime without pushing it over the edge, it would make strategic sense to target its oil and gas reserves.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Iran has produced more oil since the war than before it, while its neighbours have been strangled by the closure of Hormuz. If a post-regime Iran wasn’t on the cards, there would be little American squeamishness over destroying Tehran’s golden goose.
