This driver pleaded guilty at court for 'driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road without reasonable consideration to other users.' I was signalling right & in primary (centre). The pass was close & fast. Given £40 fine, £90 costs,£16 surcharge & 3 points. Fitting?

@zigzagvander @BathRoadSafety Hold the celebrations, it might be an un-cancelled policy which belonged to another person. If you run the plates again in three weeks or so the keeper might have had a chance to buy some tax, and some MOT time after your prompt.

Today's winner number 1 of a police report for close pass. Driver has not read HC 178, "Allow cyclists, including any moving or waiting alongside you, enough time and space to move off when the green signal shows".

@gmptraffic @GMPTamesideUK There really ought to be a website where you can report those who have illegal spacings on their registration plates for vanity purposes.

Using any product or modification to obscure your number plate is a serious offence. Plates with non-standard fonts to evade detection are illegal. GMP have cameras to detect these plates. Hyde Officers stopped a vehicle with Ghost Plates. @GMPTamesideUK #TrafficPCSOs
