ATHLETIC ALLIANCE: The leaders of the Big Ten, SEC, ACC and Big 12 praise President Trump’s new college sports order, which aims to tighten rules on player transfers and eligibility while curbing pay-for-play booster collectives. They also urge Congress to pass national standards for NIL deals and athlete compensation.

@FoxNews Screws the athletes … transferring gives them power. They should get 2 transfers in 5 years, min.

@BrandonBealMD @FoxNews That’s called negotiation. I don’t disagree that’s where it should LAND, but why start with 2 ? Then the players will want 3. The NIL has been the ultimate “ready…FIRE….aim”

Why be against the players? They are the least represented & most disadvantaged. The NCAA represents these university’s who initially made $Billions from their sports activities while giving them close to nothing. College athletes generate billions and receive the smallest share, until just recently. I was an NCAA D1 athlete and the contract they made you sign was nothing short of ridiculous- I literally cross off paragraphs before I signed and nobody ever read it so they didn’t know. I was never good enough to get paid, but if I was the NCAA ensure I wouldn’t receive anything. Players were banned for receiving free tattoos- that’s crazy
