@Jukobut3 No one deserves to die. Free will is an incoherent concept. There is no moral imperative to punish, the exact unit of planck time that someone no longer is a threat (in both an immediate and a rule utilitarian sense) is the moment you no longer should harm them.

@AffableEffable @Jukobut3 I think if you have to introduce the concept of "Planck time" into a conversation of when it's okay to Kill Hitler, your moral philosophy so utilitarian it fails to be pragmatic

@genericavevo @Jukobut3 "Planck time", in this case, is just a fancy way to say "instant". I.e. the "instant" you causing harm to someone would no longer actually prevent any concrete harm to others, you should no longer do it.
