@BadMeetsWeevil The reach is in taking the statement to be justifying violence in the present, rather than saying "at that time, violence would have been justified". Similar to the cop analogy I gave.

@LouisC55111 @TheOmniLiberal @xQc I guess I wish he could do that where it's something more in-kind where I don't have to reach to perceive them as the same thing. The Hasan one I could see as irresponsible, the Destiny one is just explicitly saying if you roblox'd the guy *right now* it'd be fine.

@AffableEffable @TheOmniLiberal @xQc Considering that they had issues with Hasan orbiter fans calling CPS on them and sending skulls to them i think is was extremely irresponsible. And it's not like destiny directly called for violence he's just saying theoretically it could be justified.

If he *was* correct on the law but I thought that he was trying to incite *current* violence I'd still be against it, and if he is incorrect that wouldn't change if I think he is or isn't inciting violence.

But on the other side of things if I had someone I hated who, say, pulled a gun on a cop and I, at a later point, say "and by the way that cop would have been 100% in his rights to blow them away", am I encouraging violence?

@Altermerea The very starting minute or so is a little funny in a morbid "it's ma'am" sort of way, but very quickly it just becomes really sad and difficult to see. I couldn't keep watching it - really just wished someone who actually wanted and knew how to deescalate would step in.

@ReallyIrishName @NebsGoodTakes Maybe we're filling in some of the blanks here differently. My guess would've been a college-aged adult. And idk about "hopping mad", but what happened sounds pretty annoying especially right at the end of a 3 hour film, so firing off a "don't do this" post to me isn't crazy.

@AffableEffable @NebsGoodTakes I think being annoyed by it is understandable. I don’t really getting hopping mad about it is strange. It was probably a kid. We are all (myself included) giving the act itself and the person doing it far more credence and attention than they deserve.

@Aelita_LL @_timothyjm It's just a site. I don't really use it, but there have been random times where I have, like for identification of insects/microbes. Also been very helpful over the years when trying to look up really just any random thing usually the reddit results are the most relevant.
