The Commissioner –General of Police, Stephen Mutamba has launched a rebranded ZRP National Highway Patrol team with the release of five high-powered Double-Cab Ford Ranger vehicles on the roads to police the country during the festive season and beyond. The vehicles drivers and assistants will be also having body worn cameras (camcord) on them as part of electronic traffic management system on the roads. The Zimbabwe Republic Police urges the public to report any unruly and dangerous driving conduct on the roads by motorists to the team for swift action. Please make use of these new National Highway Patrol vehicles to make report once you come across the teams on the roads.
