The Wild have 60 point forwards. Thomas has a 52.5% faceoff win percentage. You'll are under the impression that 65pts and a 52% faceoff winner is a superstar? It would have been a bad deal for both teams. Yurov is young and coming along quite nicely. Neither team would even consider that offer at this point and that suites everyone just fine. The Blues have Hofer and the Wild's future is clearly with Wallstedt. Both goalies have the same regular season stats for the most part. Wally has proven he can be the man against the NHL's best in the playoffs. Stop acting like it's a fleece job, that is just dumb.

@CodePrometheus To be fair, Wallstedt proved he was good by the time of the deadline, but didn’t get enough playing time due to Gus getting the nod most nights. Luckily for the Wild, the trade never happened and we got to see how good he truly is in the playoffs.

@CodePrometheus No it’s an awful offer for a 1C. People have blinders on cause of how wallstedt played in the playoffs. Nothing in this package is good for the blues and it’s also very light for a 1C to begin with.
