Big Swing Tempo
Big Swing Tempo@BigSwingTempo·
Golf etiquette question for everyone: I was playing a buddy in a match. Was tied going into the 16th hole. On the green we essentially had the same 10 foot putt. If I two putted and he one putted, he’d win the hole. So I purposely aimed and missed the cup so he couldn’t get a read. He ended up missing the putt and was big time mad I did that. I was thinking from a strategy standpoint that if I bet he’d miss the putt, I’d tie the hole. If I gave him a read, he’d be more likely to make it. Good or bad move? Against the spirit of the game?

@BigSwingTempo Him being bad is a bitch move. Purposely missing a 10 foot putt and then hoping that causes your friend to miss a 10 footer because he can't get a read is probably the biggest bitch move in the history of golf. You're like a soccer team playing for a 0-0 draw. Fuck you

@BigSwingTempo @MarsLovesSaturn For some context I play the same course almost every time I golf and know every read of every green and that doesn’t mean I make everything. That’s just a portion of a put. Why do you think a scramble team can miss 4 puts quite easily ? You should give yourself chance 2 win hole
