Thank you @ChmnMendelson for your leadership and commitment to equity for all students, @chenderson for your strong support for the funding charter schools need to educate our students in safe, comfortable buildings, and the whole @councilofdc for their unanimous support.

In addition to rejecting the proposed repeal of the annual 3.1% increase to the charter facilities allotment, the @councilofdc completed its annual series of budget votes today to: 1⃣Approve @MayorBowser’s proposed increase to the UPSFF by 12.4%;

2⃣Approve @MayorBowser’s proposed increase to the UPSFF Adult students weight from .91 to 1.0; 3⃣Approve @MayorBowser’s proposed increase to the UPSFF Alternative program weight from 1.52 to 1.58;

4⃣Add an additional $17.5 million for charter facilities funding over the four-year financial plan to restore the annual 3.1% charter facilities allotment increase law; and
