@DevInTheLab And literally no one will ever care or put him in the same combo as MJ, Kobe or Wade.
English

@DevInTheLab I legitimately dont think the hate for him is merely because of greatness. I kind of not like that argument. Its dismissive of what i think is actual criticism of his tactics imo
English

@DevInTheLab Not untrue, but logical thinking is often mistaken for hate by those wearing Thunder-colored lenses. I don’t hate Shai at all - I enjoy watching his amazing mid-range game, but I also think the depth of the Thunder is a huge contributing reason he’s a back to back MVP.
English

@DevInTheLab "ook at how much ppl dislike their success. Hate validates greatness"
oh yeah by that standard the holocaust is the biggest achievement in human history.
English

That shouldn’t move the needle though, this is his fourth season averaging an efficient 30. If it takes for him to have to win, MVP and finals MVP to acknowledge his greatness than I don’t think some of y’all are watching the games. MVP or not this season and prior showed that he’s one of the best all time.
English

@DevInTheLab It's crazy the way y'all confer all time status based on a few accomplishments and not sustained greatness.
He's having a great run but it doesn't make him an all time great.
English

@DevInTheLab Yes because MJ, Steph, Magic, Hakeem, Duncan, Russell, Kobe etc are all so famously hated 😂
English

@DevInTheLab @mdwbasketball Shai wins another ring and mvp in back to back seasons essentially without his “pippen” for the second go round is flirting top 10 PGs ever top 20 players ever.
English

@DevInTheLab Tim Duncan of Guards. Will never be the face of the league but will be an all time great.
English

@DevInTheLab Nobody apart from Zeke hated MJ (Scottie eventually), he was 'feared'. Uncs weren't telling rookies "Don't trash talk Mike" out of hatred. Even rivals' eyes opened up (😳) when Chuck beat him for MVP- and he paid for it in June. Also, who the hell hates Steph?
English

@DevInTheLab Nah…it’s that mindset that’s ruining sports and our culture. RESPECT validates success, my dude.
English

@DevInTheLab I don’t think hate validates greatness. In fact, it’s the opposite. Those who are great receive respect, even when it’s begrudging. You can hate all you want but you have to tip the cap. SGA is a supreme player who flops his ass off. Is that not true?
English

@DevInTheLab Well no, they flop get whistles no one else gets and then play physically knowing the whistle isn't blown on defense. So no one will actually respect him.
English

@DevInTheLab So I guess Hitler was an all time great since everyone hates him
English

@DevInTheLab The flop narrative has skewed how people perceive him, but he is already one of the greatest pure scorers who has ever played. He is the definition of automatic.
English

@DevInTheLab Two regular season MVPs two finals mvps averaging over 30 in his prime no guard has ever been this efficient and outside of curry magic and Jordan what guards have 2 or more regular season MVPs?
English

@DevInTheLab @mnichelle15 This strawman yall create for why people hate him is old and tired. It’s not the “success”, it’s the immorality and zest.
English

@DevInTheLab I remember when i wad a kid how much shit mfs would talk about kobe now when its all said and done mfs aint got shit to say same thing goin happen wit sga
English

@DevInTheLab Dislike part is very true lol my favorite example is KD. I think that cements SGA top 25 for sure if he goes through Wemby while he still can also😂
English

@DevInTheLab if 2019 harden had shai’s team, indiana doesnt take them to 7. lol
English

@DevInTheLab MVPs are meaningless . His championship is a super team championship
English

@DevInTheLab He has a legacy series starting tomorrow. Let’s see how it goes.
