If the UIL is serious about allowing one freebie transfer, what is stopping certain schools from just creating super teams year after year? I’d rather us get a shot clock in basketball or allow the kids to capitalize on potential NIL opportunities than that.

BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?

"Little brother" Cayden saved Duke from Siena by making 9-16. Cameron Boozer's NBA stock fell some as he looked hesitant to shoot, struggled to create and couldn't hang onto the ball. I no longer love my pick of Duke winning it all.

@realtalkejlt Steph, Dame, Klay etc. We can confidently say the best shooters are in the NBA. The kid is a sniper but he’s not doing any of it off the dribble, it’s strictly catch and shoot. Still impressive though.

Just like we know the best dunkers in the world aren’t necessarily in the nba, we need to start considering that for shooting as well, there are ppl out here who just don’t have the ball skills or athleticism to play in the nba, but when it comes to shooting they do it at a ridiculously high level

@will2whitson Cam and Mario McKinney were nasty at Vashon high school in Missouri. I thought both of their careers would’ve turned out a little differently though.

Arkansas will face High Point’s Cam’ron Fletcher on Saturday, a former player of John Calipari at Kentucky. Cam was sent away from the team in 2020 due to conduct against the team. Now he’s at High Point, averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds per game.

If I’m Duke, I wouldn’t be so sure that Cayden boozer is coming back next year if he shows NBA scouts during this tournament run that he can shoot the long ball and plays well in a enhanced role without Caleb Foster who knows
