@DevInTheLab Sorry man, you’ve lost control of the narrative and you’re not going to get it back. Flopping and hacking will be the only thing OKC is ever remembered for, and I know that must be frustrating as a fan 😂
English

@DevInTheLab Dev did anyone say “wemby is clean and never fouls” or “sga is flopping he never gets touched literally he’s never been fouled before”
English

@DevInTheLab because the problem isn’t the fouls they’re not calling, it’s the playoffs… the problem is the fouls they are calling. CAUSE ITS THE PLAYOFFS why are we calling “landing space fouls” on fly bys and hands down half contests cus somebody jumps way forward.
English

@DevInTheLab I would like to see a play where Wemby is hooking hartenstein or grabbing/holding his hand down while he jumps for a rebound or tries to play defense. Off ball physicality to prevent a pass or establish position is different than holding someone’s arm as they’re goin for the ball
English

@DevInTheLab I'm of the believe that the OKC hate is overrated, but I actually haven't seen clips of Hartenstein getting held. Could you share them?
English

@DevInTheLab It all depends on the lens you’re looking through. Shai is held. That is how he is defended getting the MVP treatment second time around. Big picture is the depth of the Thunder and how they play defense and move the ball on offense.
English

cause the stats show SGA especially foul baiting
his fall rate
the fact the years the NBA the prioritized enforcing foul baiting rules his FTA/FGA is like .39 and since they stopped it's >0.45
over the same time period he's gone to the rim less! And his midrange usage has gone from like 11% to >25%
So more jumpers and yet more fouls. Only Luka gets fouled more not at the rim. It unbearably unfun.
Granted Shai is a better creator for others and defender than Luka so more fun to watch. But trying to draw midrange fouls and ththat being one of your elite skills is not fun to watch
To be honest he doesn't owe non OKC fans anything in terms of playing entertaining basketball. He sshould continue until NBA makes him stop. But for fans the NBA should enforce the flopping rules and prioritize them again and reign in that shit in.
Everything on moderation
English

@DevInTheLab Great Question!!!! Sore losers? People used to getting their way or making up a narrative to get there way and don’t know how to respond when truth prevails. Crazy.
English

@DevInTheLab Also, are OKC fans REALLY so blind that they can’t understand why no one respects Shai?
English

@DevInTheLab are you stupid? What's the ratio on the Wemby/Hartenstein illegal contact? 20 to 1? Where are the clips of Wemby pulling his arm as Hartenstein tries to rebound? Don't create some bullshit false equivalence here.
English

@DevInTheLab There’s a mob mentality style derangement going around regarding the thunder. Algorithms are pushing narratives because engagement = $$$. The casual hoop fan who gets their ball content from social media is bombarded with these clips and form their opinion based on that
English

@DevInTheLab Cause an overwhelming amount of nba fans care more about agendas over actually just enjoying good hoop
English

@DevInTheLab Narrative based viewership of the NBA. OKC is the bad guy everyone hates and will irrationally blow-up any plays that go their way. Look at the Dort loose ball that unfortunately took out Fox, very normal basketball play that people are overreacting to
English

@DevInTheLab Because OKC is too good, they hate anything that is too good/hate players that are better than their stars. Wemby is suppose to be the next best player and should be winning but because they aren’t they are going to hate instead of saying “OKC is better”
English

@DevInTheLab It’s genuinely market size, confirmation bias, and how specifically the Twitter algorithm works. Okc fans can try to counter message as hard as they want but there’s simply not enough of them
English

@DevInTheLab the majority truly believed the media was right when they covered how unfair and unethical OKC plays. now they seen the media was wrong, no one wants to admit they don’t know ball as much as they thought
English

@DevInTheLab Because it means you are making a "straw man argument" and "gaslighting" if you point out things are happening on both ends
Whatever the fuck that means
English

@DevInTheLab The narrative is too far gone in one direction, okc doesn’t do anything any worse than any other team, but as the best team that’s been dominating everyone else’s favorite teams people have to scramble to find anything they can to dismiss success
English

@DevInTheLab Of course Okc getting fouled it’s basketball
Thing is
They’re not officiated the same way as the teams that play them
Everyone outside of Okc see it
Okc can press and crowd ball handlers with intensity that other teams can’t do without being called for ticky tac foul
English

@DevInTheLab Because nobody cares about what happens to the champs just like nobody cares about the injuries that happen to OKC
English

@DevInTheLab Because they purposely won't call it on BOTH sides consistently and it's B.S.
English

@DevInTheLab Common sense isn’t so common brother. 🤝 If OKC was some 50 win team that didn’t win last year, the narrative wouldn’t exist.
English

@DevInTheLab All they do is complain bro. They don’t like basketball fr, I don’t get it either
English

@DevInTheLab The tape ah be right in they face and they choose to ignore it and go with twitter narratives
