@DevelopingZack First, the mining pools are controlled/funded by a central entity, namely @calvinayre.
Second, the chainstate is dictated under legal threat by a central entity BSVA, which is also controlled by @calvinayre.
Is that slow enough for you?

@DevelopingZack In the past year only 3 public mining pools have found more than 1% of BSV blocks. Less than 25% of BSV blocks have been mined by public mining pools in the last year.

BTC - Protocol changed already many times by tiny group of coders
