I know that the current gameplay loop works for PvP enthusiasts, but without better incentives to play ranked games, only heavy spenders will be left. 🥲 Since this new ranking event started, my motivation to play has gone down, and I'm probably not the only one. #DISSIDIA #DDFF

Nah, I’m a heavy spender and I seriously hate ranked. I got matched 35k vs 37k earlier. I was 14k of the power on our team who played like independent asses lol So we lost handedly. But of course, they were 10.5k avg power vs 13.3k power avg. My +700 power avg can’t make up their -2800 power avg. It’s not just character balancing, it’s player balancing. My incentive to spend more money is what, forced to be burdened by players on auto or to have to carry others? The alternative is a party system but that isn’t functional. It’s beyond a pain to try to party with people. The chat is a message board, a poor one, so there’s no live player interaction.

@DissidiaDB I think what they need to do especially in Gold is adjust the level cap cuz 60 is too high and because of that the boss goes down too quickly for people who have abilities at 60. They should lower it to 50 so its more fair and the boss doesn’t die as fast in gold.

@DissidiaDB I thought they reset ranks so we could rewards again……honestly don’t see a valid reason to reset them globally, just reset those who have been inactive long time if we aren’t gonna get anything

@DissidiaDB It’s probably better to play in moderation cause the issue with a lot of PvP games is the burn out of ALWAYS playing with others. I found the balance of just sitting back most days jus filling up my crystal slots then getting off but sometimes I’ll just play online to kill time

@DissidiaDB I will be curious to see how ranking numbers stack up for season 2 onwards compared to season 1, because I’m not really doing ranked this season either since I never wanted to do PvP in the first place, and I can get everything I want out of challenges

@DissidiaDB I got a refund on everything and I've stopped spamming their posts about removing autoplay from ranked and casuals, the game is fun the loop and spitting on our faces with ranked reward elimination is anti consumer so I'm done with the game now I'll replay other ff games again

@DissidiaDB I play strictly challenge mode. And emblem with the word “May” on it and shining weapons just doesn’t do it for me

@DissidiaDB I’m trying to force myself, but why should I play ranked when I could do challenge and get guaranteed 6 gold with a chance of a rainbow? But then why play if I’m only playing the computer? I’m hoping they see these issues and fix them next season

@DissidiaDB Yeah I'm getting pissed at ranked especially as a solo player. My enemies seems just strike down boss at one burst

@DissidiaDB I'm free to play and still playing atm. Want to use more characters, but need their URs. Focusing on getting to omega five frame, and that's pretty much it.

@DissidiaDB You’re definitely not the only one, I’ve had multiple friends quit outright and I myself basically log in, play the little challenges for a character one or two times, and peace out again.

@DissidiaDB Only playing until my season pass is full I guess. Might do quick games for unsealing crystals every now and then but no more grinding session and I do actually spend some
