@swimneycheap ...was it necessary? ER nurses generally dont ask for "consent" from patients, much less children, for an EMERGENCY exam. Yall are confusing this too much with sex. Sorry, unless he has some misconduct record I doubt he wanted to be doing that on a 14 yr old either

@s_jgmffca46741 I went to the ER having a gall bladder attack, which I had many times there that year, I was admitted and once I had a private room room a male nurse told my mom that “many young girls are sexually active but think the way they’re doing it doesn’t count” and did it.

@s_jgmffca46741 I was a child and did not know what was happening. I felt incredibly violated and cried all night. I implore you to learn about the malpractice of rural hospitals (especially catholic ones) where the majority of ER patients are poor with no access to urgent care.

@swimneycheap And it is very normal for girls to have their genitals checked by medical professionals, including men, from young childhood onwards. This sexualization of medicine needs to stop. These are procedures, not a porn fantasy these people want to do on you outside of the clinic

@s_jgmffca46741 @swimneycheap This is completely untrue.
It’s concerning that you are saying this - for multiple reasons.
