It with the heaviest of hearts that we advise of the passing of Club Legend, Roger Taplin, following a short illness. Tappy played for Hartley back in the day & was Hartley through & through. A man of never ending tales & wit, he held a crowd & enjoyed many a pint with friends.

A huge character in life and in the lives of all who knew him. Tappy, you will be forever missed by us all. Our deepest and most sincere love, prayers and condolences to his devoted wife Rosemary, his son James and to all of his family. Rest in peace dear friend🧡
