God, the Gabe Kapler era sucked so bad. I can’t believe he ever managed the Giants.

@49ers_Access He won the Manager of the Year and led the team to the most wins in franchise history in a season. He was weird but he was a smart guy and knew how to build a coaching staff. It’s not his fault the ownership was cheap and didn’t want to build off of 2021

@JordanYras35 @49ers_Access Yeah you need the players to perform to also be a good manager, you come up with that all by yourself? Kapler still was good with pitching strategies even in those year after that’s why we were around .500 with bad teams. All his coaches have been hired to be managers too 🤷‍♂️

I disagree with his bullpen management but I did like his staff overall 2021 was a special year and not very good reference point imo also his only above .500 season including Phillies, we’ll see how he does in Miami this year

@JordanYras35 @49ers_Access I mean the Dodgers kind of underachieved last year in the regular season, it’s usually an award for the manager that did better than expected. And he’s the GM for the Marlins because he’s smart which I was trying to say. He’s a little weird and is better suited for front office

Only person I actually tolerate on here about Giants Baseball He was fine overall I agree I think Vitello will be fun to watch and the team has sneaky potential

@JordanYras35 @49ers_Access I definitely think he should have gotten fired because he didn’t mesh with some players well. I think he’s like Harbaugh, he’s good for awhile but then his schtick gets old. I like what I see from Vitello but I also see a lot of Kapler in him too
