I just drafted up another post about an arm that left the Giants and is flourishing. It’s really sad that there are 3 incredibly strong cases in just one year We really need to learn how to identify and develop talent man… Bonus points if you can guess the arm #SFGiants

@YayAreaaa21 @SFGiants Exactly. Like his HRs against the Dodgers and Phillies were cool but that was because he was such a bad hitter we were surprised that he was the one to hit them 😅

@ImNotHuman123 You have no idea if Schmitt will have 27 errors if he has consistent playing time. He needs to play to see that. We know Chapman has 6 errors this year though and his throws to 1st have been mediocre at best. I see the difference in the offense too.

Chapman's greatness as a defender still goes underappreciated when people watch it every day. He's slugging .325 and is still on pace to be in the 2 fWAR ballpark. The fanbase has a disposition to compare him to Schmitt, who's has graded out as ~average and error prone.

@ImNotHuman123 And Chapman has 6 errors already this year and you still like him, so why is it okay for Chapman to make errors and not Schmitt? Especially since Schmitt is hitting. Slapman has 1 HR at Memorial Day, that’s embarrassing. Especially with how much he’s getting paid

@GarlicFryRy I’m talking about Schmitt at 3B. Where he’s committed 12 errors in 521 career innings. …and please don’t pancake/waffle me. I never said anything about how great it is that Chapman isn’t hitting.

@C2Cbsbl @bryarea Winning solves everything. Nobody was complaining about platoons in 2021 when it was working. Everybody started complaining in 2022 when it wasn’t.
