1/2 #TB remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers. However, global efforts since 2000, helped save ~66 million lives. But #COVID19 has reversed years of progress made in the fight to #EndTB. For the 1st time, in over a decade, TB deaths⬆️ in 2020. #WorldTBDay2022

2/2 There is an urgent need to invest resources to ramp up the fight against #TB & achieve the commitments to #EndTB made by global leaders. More investment will save millions more lives, accelerating the end of the TB epidemic.
