LOL. But in all seriousness, it'd probably be cheaper to do this than our current infrastructure obsession with multibillion dollar trains to nowhere.

@PhilWMagness I think the tunnel version of this will make sense with autonomous, electric cars. Autonomous cars should be able to run at over 100 MPH with a fraction of a second between cars. That is high-bandwidth and low-latency transportation.
