Jimmy Lai, 78, who has suffered largely in solitary confinement, must receive medical treatment immediately and be released at once.

I join the Foreign Secretary in condemning the unjust, politically motivated prosecution of Jimmy Lai. I am proud to represent Hendon's Hong Kong community in Parliament. I know they will be shocked and afraid as a result of today's news. Mr Lai must be released immediately and given access to the medical treatment he needs.
