How can an eco cycle on the dishwasher which takes 4 hours use less water than a quick cycle? I get that it can use less electricity by using cooler water but not less water

@LessGrumpy My ECO function (AEG Dishwasher) is purely to use less water. It is a bit cooler than the normal wash cycle but takes much longer and actually uses a bit more leccy 🤷🏻‍♂️

@DHifix All very odd. Likewise all washing machines being cold feed only now.

@LessGrumpy Some day in the not too distant future our grid will collapse. It barely copes at times now, the zealots push towards EV’s, Elec heat pumps & heating systems, combined with less use of oil & gas without increased grid capacity will get us there…
