It’s so strange that It’s been over a decade since a great sports movie was made. Hollywood just stopped producing sports movies and movies nowadays have gotten much worse overall 🤷‍♂️

@NBAgreenbeans @fhnixon It really is, that and uncut gems are probably top 2 sports films in the last 10 years imo. Tbf there really aren’t that many top tier sport films overall for movies as a whole. King Richard, rush, iron claw, challengers were all pretty solid as well. Moneyball is the best OAT.

moneyball (great movie) was made in 2011, Uncut gems is a gambling movie not a sports movie, Iron claw is about the WWE (not a sport), Challengers was an absolute disgrace of a film and more about being gay than sports, and I need to watch King Richard but I heard good things about it
