@djrevmoon Ecu sw has never been on the level that is required now. It goed way beyond ignition timing and fuel mixture. With the regen, deployment and everything in between. Waché himself said it was a software issue and simple to fix. So lets see!

@MarcOverIP Of course the 50/50 rule makes that super complex, but I reversed ECU fw more than 10 years ago and it was already quite advanced. That was for a truck tho not a racing car...

@djrevmoon Same here. Going through the details of a 2009 bmw ecu. Its all ‘basic’ stuff. Now in F1 brakes is sw, accel is sw, diff is sw, aero is sw, regen is sw, power deloyment is sw. Max’ crash is not the final one we’re seeing that is down to a sw bug.
