The word "colonialism" is a thought terminating cliche among Africans. It stops all rational pragmatic thought of the subject at hand.

@MusingsofAwe Bcs unfortunately, that was the zeitgeist post-independence. Popular movements rallied behind calls to end colonial structures. We're still stuck in the glory of kicking out the white man. So anything we do has to revolve around that concept.
