@0chibo_ I've gone through the report, where does it mention the 1.5 million tonnage and 75% purity. Please clarify. And yes these matter in determining whether extraction is feasible.

@adams_program In the Laikipia County report, it meant 1.5-3 million tonnes of recoverable iron ore at 75% purity at one site alone. Plus separate confirmed deposits of bentonite, kaolin, bauxite, sepiolite, mica, vermiculite, marble, garnets Feasibility is a political-economic decision.

"My career revolves around reading about this." but haukusoma official source? Laikipia.go.ke, 2020 survey: "substantial deposits" of iron ore, bentonite, kaolin, bauxite, sepiolite, mica, marble & garnets. Tofauti yako na hizo ngombe kwa ranch ni jina na location.

@0chibo_ I am maasai you fool 😂😂😂😂 We don’t think we deserve that land. We have space on our own and we graze there when we want to. I didn’t invent feminism too . Never claimed I did . 🤷🏽‍♀️ you want the space because you think it has minerals . You are silly

@StanleyMachaari Yes it is. Being a system doesn't vilify it to a political system. It's only limited to economics. Back to the conversation, capitalism is always a low hanging fruit to blame for failed political structures. African states for example are organized around tribal affiliations.

Capitalism is always a convenient Boogeyman for y'all. A cover for public irresponsibility, political and economic apathy,e.t.c. How does the free market get you a corrupt leader? Your socialized healthcare doesn't work because your tribal Barron needs a couple of bands.
Stanley Macharia@StanleyMachaari

Train yourselves to see systems. Systems produce the same results consistently. Capitalism will always have the same economic results no matter who you elect.

Actually, arson is usually the last resort for students. Before they burn anything, they have raised their issues on all non-violent ways possible. Through their prefects, teachers, even parents. Nothing. That's when they resort to violence.
Ngai Mwandoto@Ze_Ngai1

@mwende_kyalo_ @AgainstWeaves A culture of defiance was still learned eventually in the places they designed to stifle all independent thought. Long live school strikes minus the arson.

@StanleyMachaari Capitalism isn't an ideology. There are no pillars. Its a concept on how to organize an economy, through a free market. People trade resources as they want to without an overseeing power.

@adams_program The main pillars of capitalism are wage labour and private property. Democracy is not possible in such a classist system. Billionaires are always above the law.

@MusingsofAwe Our nations are built on the principles that we were able to oust people who we thought of as superior. Imagine toppling a God? That high is generational.

@MusingsofAwe Bcs unfortunately, that was the zeitgeist post-independence. Popular movements rallied behind calls to end colonial structures. We're still stuck in the glory of kicking out the white man. So anything we do has to revolve around that concept.

The word "colonialism" is a thought terminating cliche among Africans. It stops all rational pragmatic thought of the subject at hand.

@StanleyMachaari Capitalism in it's base state, gives opportunity to all. Anyone and everyone has the right to influence and be socially mobile. Move resources, own resources. Capitalism keeps democracy alive. Because the state doesn't hold power over individuals. Individuals hold power.

@StanleyMachaari The other alternatives to capitalism do that even more effectively. If the state controls wealth and resources, it becomes your god. Such power corrupts, and now you have an all-powerful ruling class. Socialism absolves responsibility, bcs now money will always be around...
