THEY SAY FREE PALESTINE. THEY NEVER MENTION THE “SLAVE” NEIGHBORHOOD. Did you know Gaza has a neighborhood commonly known as Al Abeed, literally the slave neighborhood? It’s home to many Afro-Palestinians, descendants of Africans brought to the region through the historic Arab slave trade. Members of that community have said they’re still called abeed, slaves, as a racial slur. Yet somehow, every conversation about oppression skips over that part. The people demanding you memorize every criticism of Israel rarely spend five seconds talking about anti-Black racism inside Palestinian society. Apparently, some victims are more useful than others.

@NotTheirScript The slavery card is a Marxist tool to destabilize America. The truth is that the US was instrumental in abolishing slavery at a time when it was globally accepted. Most other cultures have been able to rise above thier ensalvement - except for black people.

@NotTheirScript It’s good to see that some black people are finally waking up. Israel is the most colorblind place that I’ve ever seen. While Arab Muslims are still practicing slavery in Muslim countries.

@NotTheirScript Why would this surprise anyone. The Arab slave trade existed before the trans Atlantic. There’s still slavery in many Arab countries today. No one ever talks about that though.

@NotTheirScript Yes the Arabs/Muslims take white and black sl*ves and sec sl*ves. But there was no “Gaza” in the 30’s. You’re welcome.
