Our office is closely monitoring the wildfires impacting Putnam County, Clay County, and areas near the Clay-Putnam line. Conditions are changing quickly, and some areas are under voluntary evacuation. Both counties are also currently under a burn ban. Please stay alert and follow updates from the @PutnamCountyEM , @PutnamCountySO, @ccsofl, @ClayCounty_EM, and @ClayFireRescue. Resources we are aware of at this time are: • An evacuation site is available in Clay County at Shiloh Baptist Church. • The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is offering evacuation stalls for horses at $25 per night. If you know of additional resources or assistance, please send them our way so we can help share with the community.
