@StockTalks21 Yax. Michigan is a top 10 - 20 team without him.
English

@StockTalks21 Yaxel. He always guards the other teams best player. And offensively, if he’s not on it’s very noticable
English

@StockTalks21 Mara. He’s their unicorn. You saw the difference at Mackey easily in my mind when he was off the court.
English

@StockTalks21 Personally I think you’re looking at the wrong players. Yaxel is awesome. But Johnson is the key IMO
English

@StockTalks21 Yaxel
Mara can have an off game and the team still finds a way to dominate
English

@StockTalks21 All of the above lol. It’s hard to pin point the success on one of those two, even three with Morez. They support each other so well in their respective roles that I’d argue they share an equal amount of importance.
English

@StockTalks21 Elliot Cadeau.
But if these are the choices it's Lendeborg.
English

@StockTalks21 Can’t be the best team if you don’t compete in the best conference.
English

@StockTalks21 Mara is fucking terrible😭
Dude has no ability outside of being 7’4
Without yaxel they probably are a 8 seed at best. And craziest part is that Yaxel is also ass😭 they just got the officals on their side every game
English

@StockTalks21 Yax 100%. Mara is susceptible to stretch bigs, having Yax and Rez helping him on defense hides a lot of Mara’s limitations.
English

@StockTalks21 Since January 1st, Michigan is 14.5 points PP40 better with Yaxel on the court than when he’s off.
They are -8 PP40 when Mara is on the court than when he’s off.
It’s Yaxel and it’s not close.
English

@StockTalks21 Yaxel is a better overall player. If you take away him this team is like top 15-20.
Mara is a more unique talent. Take away him and we are still top 10, but not number 1. Certainly not number 1 defense.
English

@StockTalks21 Yax is the “better player” but I think Mara is a bit less replaceable
English

@StockTalks21 Yax. I can't see Michigan hanging onto that lead with the way Purdue was playing in the 2nd half if Yax was the one who barely played due to foul trouble. He is so versatile and does a bit of everything.
English

@StockTalks21 I think it's Yaxel. His versatility as a player is what lets them dominate so many different matchups. When one guy can guard pretty much anyone, you can get huge advantages for everyone else on the team.
Same on offense, but he's not quite as vital there.
