Where have people done offsites for remote-first startup teams? Anywhere great that takes care of details and allows you to focus on structured team time? But also doesn't break the bank.

@StuartBlitz How many people? We usually pick a city w/ easy flights from most places (SF, Denver, Chicago so far). Pick a hotel in a cool neighborhood outside main city (like Bucktown in Chicago) so is cheaper. 1/2 is work related programming and 1/2 is social. 2 people take on planning

@StuartBlitz Airbnb for up to 15 people. Pick location outside the city. Focus on 50% work and 50% socializing. Prep meals together. @elo_health first offsite was in middle of nowhere at Arnold California.

@StuartBlitz We've done Pasadena and Denver. For activities we've done the Griffith Observatory and Huntington Gardens in Pasadena which are great and a cooking class/dinner in Denver. Totally depends where most of the team is though.

@StuartBlitz We try and chose a city where a large portion of team already lives. Rent very large Airbnb somewhere very walkable. Instacart groceries and spend time cooking together and talking. Everyone gets their own room & tons of shared space to huddle, breakout, etc.
