One thing I like about Kirkman's writing is he reminds you that Nolan is an alien. It really does not occur to him here that Art is terrified of him. In his mind, he's just chilling with an old friend. Toriyama did the same with Saiyans. Just because they look human it doesn't mean they are.

@Vhoyde Nah I think Nolan was definitely threatening Art in this scene. Part of him did just want another drink, a final sensation of normalcy, but he also knew art knew and wanted him quiet. The mannerisms are clear, especially near the end.

@Divine_Tortoise @Vhoyde I dont think so. He probs got so used to the way his apology tour happened across the galaxy, he forgot, or didn't know, humans don't know how Viltrumites are. The rest of the galaxy does, which is why its shocking Nolan apologized to them, but to the humans, it's like>>>>>

@Divine_Tortoise @Vhoyde >>>>>if Superman, out of the blue for what might as well be a decade, revealed his true colors as Zod and killed the Justice League, maimed Superboy or Supergirl, and just dipped when he, suddenly, gave up, probs to get more of his kind, they dont know.
