@ceo_uidai A married was issued Aadhaar with the surname of her husband alongwith the her maiden Surname.How to retain her maiden surname in the Aadhaar and what documents required?

To update name, the Aadhaar number holder has to visit the authorised Aadhaar centre (locate here:- bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar/) with a valid POI document in his/her name. Please see the list of acceptable documents here:-uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc… Note: Name in Aadhaar can be updated only twice.

@UIDAI @ceo_uidai Thank you Sir but the personnel in the Aadhaar seva kendras are not responding properly when we say we are there to update name.It is for the first time but they saying go and get the Gazette Notification.

@UIDAI @ceo_uidai The so called mistake at the initial enrolment was done by the personnel appointed by you.Today after 40 years of marriage people who are than more 60 years of age getting registered their marriages and preparing for obtaining the gazette notifications.
