Aadhaar enrollment is free. Mandatory biometric (photo + fingerprint + iris) updates for children aged 5 to 7 years and 15 to 17 years are free. For children aged 7 to 15 years and those above 17 years, the cost of mandatory biometric (photo + fingerprint + iris) updates is ₹125 (inclusive of all taxes). Note: For the benefit of individuals, UIDAI has made mandatory biometric updates for those aged 7 to 15 years free until September 30, 2026. The fee for demographic updates (one or more fields) is ₹75 (inclusive of all taxes). The cost of biometric (photo + fingerprint + iris) updates, whether with or without other demographic updates, is ₹125 (inclusive of all taxes).
