Amortisation is down to about £68m, profit on player sales is around £63m, and wages down by about £15m. I’d guess if the £50m is the target we need to make another £30m on player sales before we can start buying players….

@GlynnThomas1 FFP not a major issue, Glynn. Neves was always leaving for hefty profit. In E&S column in May I said that Fosun, as part of strategy, want profit “upwards of £50m” this window. Clear-out was probably required. There will be incomings too. Best to assess it all at end of summer.
