Amortisation is down to about £68m, profit on player sales is around £63m, and wages down by about £15m. I’d guess if the £50m is the target we need to make another £30m on player sales before we can start buying players….

@GlynnThomas1 FFP not a major issue, Glynn. Neves was always leaving for hefty profit. In E&S column in May I said that Fosun, as part of strategy, want profit “upwards of £50m” this window. Clear-out was probably required. There will be incomings too. Best to assess it all at end of summer.

Ah man it finally looks like it’s coming to an end. The player who will always embody and epitomise this era of wolves for me. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had him for so long and if this is where he wants to go I’m so happy for him.
