@ibuildthecloud @ryanburnette What do you mean? Please rephrase the question.
English

@_beyondcode @ryanburnette proxmox is for VMs. That's what I know it for. So what does that mean for isolated development environments?
English

@ibuildthecloud @_beyondcode I use proxmox to create lxc containers that are isolated development environments
English

@ryanburnette @_beyondcode ah, ok. tbh I've never once used proxmox.
English

@ibuildthecloud @ryanburnette Proxmox is a hypervisor, kinda like Docker and Vagrant, but you generally install it as the bare metal OS and use it via API or CLI or Web UI to create you networks and containers and VMs, etc.
English

@_beyondcode @ryanburnette Oh yes, I'm very aware of it. I'm somewhat of a virtualization geek. So when I setup a server I just always go with something handcrafted because I like to do everything myself.
English

@ibuildthecloud @ryanburnette Do you do SDN stuff on your own as well? Or just qemu / lxc?
English

@_beyondcode @ryanburnette Not recently. I used to build IaaS orchestration systems so I've done a ton of that stuff in the past ovs/vxlan/ipsec/wireguard.
