Adi Sankara wasdated to 788-820, I fully get that. But I have a question. How did an unarmed Hindu monk go to a dangerous place like Dwaraka, a general area which saw almost regular Arab raids, that too skirting the dangerlands between Peshawar and Dwarka? Why didn't any of his eulogies consider that? Isn't that an achievement as great as his other exploits? Why didn't he engage Muslim theologians and defeat them? And the dearies who say Arabs were chased out by then - Saindhavas were regularly slugging with Arabs in the same area at least till 790.
