@AngusBMacNeil I think there used to be a halt there moons ago as my dad used to talk about it. And I think the train pulled over and you could have lunch on it Easy enough to to get get off at HM and take the tram or bus. Should be a combined ticket though.

@AngusBMacNeil Welcome to Edinburgh, badly congested city, now being seriously over developed for accommodation . But undeveloped train lines and derelict train lines we got em. It’s a madhouse

@AngusBMacNeil Edinburgh Airport - Tram to Murrayfield. Sorted. Or bus door to door. There's plenty to chose from.

@AngusBMacNeil I too have often wondered that as the train wends its way to Haymarket.

@AngusBMacNeil A basic match day station would be a good idea but probably really expensive due to health and safety issues

@AngusBMacNeil Train line goes past my house but I have to walk the same distance to Markinch as Murryfield is to Haymarket.

@AngusBMacNeil Haymarket Depot is there. However you could get off at Haymarket and get tram back to Murrayfield. It's one stop.

@AngusBMacNeil The Glasgow/Edinburgh line passes Edinburgh Airport, there should be a station there too

@AngusBMacNeil No Scottish airport has a railway station either. Well Prestwick does but none of the others.

@AngusBMacNeil Not sure its possible now, given the various routes that converge prior to Haymarket depot, and the number of roads in and out of Haymarket station

@AngusBMacNeil Because there's a tram stop right at Murrayfield. The nearest train stop is haymarket, an easy walk to the stadium
