Edra just came out of stealth with >$30M raised from @sequoia and @8vc. @EugenAlpeza and Yannis were "blank checks" for us. If they ever left Palantir, we'd back them in anything. While they were still there, they were one of the few people we reached out to when we needed sharp eyes on new tech we were diligencing. Consistently excellent judgement. When they told us they'd left, we workshopped over a few days and a few meals (including one home-cooked by @bela_becerra). We led the seed and were lucky to partner with them at inception. In every organization, the real knowledge of how things get done lives in inboxes, ticket histories, and the heads of people who've been there fifteen years. AI agents need clear instructions to operate, but those instructions don't exist. They have to be extracted from how work actually happens. Edra is a core application layer enabler that fundamentally improves as the capabilities of underlying models do. The tech Yannis and team have built is best-in-class at understanding the reasoning traces of an entire organization and encoding them to power agent workflows. Excited to use this round to take @edra_ai to market at scale.
