No that's not my view. The OP said Jesus didn’t give them a Bible.
I said he most certainly did. He quoted the OT scripture.
That was my answer. Now if you are inferring that we need the OT and NT to make a complete Bible, I agree.
Bible - biblios, a collection of books, in this case the OT AND NT cannon.
But what he gave them was "Bi le" in content- Scripture.
What he spoke to them and inspired to be written, which we read in the NT is also scripture.

How do we know what happend and what Jesus and Satan said to each other in the wilderness word for word? Who was doing the recording? Or Jesus got back to his disciples like “y’all not gon believe what happend” and narrated their conversation word for word to his guys 😅😅
We can all agree this story was made up by the authors of the gospel…whoever they were.. because we know they weren’t Jesus disciples.
