@JesusSavesPHL @LlyodCham @CKilgarriff11 He killed AAA pitching. Bohm did NOT. Apples to apples, Kemp clears when playing regularly. I'll sacrifice defense initially to get a much better hitter in our lineup long-term. .736 OPS for 6+ years is terrible...his defense was NOT perfect for YEARS.

He killed Triple A pitching. A lot of guys do. Any pitcher who’s any good is not in Triple A. He’s also worse than a liability in the field whereas Bohm is not.

Phillies fans for years have crushed Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh. They have their flaws, but they hit!!! Bryson Stott does not hit. He’s the worst of the 3 by far and needs to go asap. Play Edmundo. He’s better.

@CKilgarriff11 I'd prefer Kemp play 3B vs righties and 2B vs lefties. Then Stott and Bohm would only hit mostly vs their strength and Kemp could do better than BOTH of them once he starts playing every day and gets on a roll.

@PhilsTailgate Kemp has proven he can be a great hitter if given consistent playing time. He's been good the past 2 spring trainings and, in AAA, he's been better than EVERYONE on the Phillies not named Harper or Schwarber. All Kemp needs is consistent playing time. I guarantee an OPS > Bohm's.

If the Phillies had a more competent bench, they wouldn’t have had to go to Bohm there.
You’re not using Marsh in that situation and Moore, Kemp & Marchan aren’t going to be much of an upgrade.
I still think Moore or Kemp should be swapped out with Bryan De La Cruz.

Phillies fans spent all offseason debating if Bohm was secretly an elite hitter, just for him to get bumped down to the 6-hole two weeks into the season.
He's a career .737 ops player -- the dialogue never made sense to begin with.

@iznovaa @DavidEsser_ You don't get it. Bohm got the keys to the castle and played every day... Kemp played sporadically... you're not comparing apples to apples...Kemp never got into a rhythm. Play him everyday for a few seasons, I highly doubt he hits anywhere CLOSE to worse than Bohm.

@iznovaa @DavidEsser_ Why? Makes zero sense. Kemp hits twice as hard, has been way more patient, has A LOT more speed. All those things equal more production at the plate.

@trishadelphia They should be "fine" and eek into the playoffs again...so I'm not worried about THAT...but I AM worried that we'll stick with Bohm & Stott and never allow Kemp to get everyday at bats. He has legit potential to hit .825+ OPS consistently but we're totally peachy with .737 & .696

@OnPattison To Rob, if you're REALLY holding people accountable, then show it by benching players who don't hustle or make too many errors or don't perform well...stop sayin you're excited 4 Kemp but then never play him. He'd be a better hitter than both Bohm & Stott if he'd play every day.
