Phillies fans spent all offseason debating if Bohm was secretly an elite hitter, just for him to get bumped down to the 6-hole two weeks into the season. He's a career .737 ops player -- the dialogue never made sense to begin with.

@iznovaa @DavidEsser_ You don't get it. Bohm got the keys to the castle and played every day... Kemp played sporadically... you're not comparing apples to apples...Kemp never got into a rhythm. Play him everyday for a few seasons, I highly doubt he hits anywhere CLOSE to worse than Bohm.

@iznovaa @DavidEsser_ Why? Makes zero sense. Kemp hits twice as hard, has been way more patient, has A LOT more speed. All those things equal more production at the plate.

@trishadelphia They should be "fine" and eek into the playoffs again...so I'm not worried about THAT...but I AM worried that we'll stick with Bohm & Stott and never allow Kemp to get everyday at bats. He has legit potential to hit .825+ OPS consistently but we're totally peachy with .737 & .696

@OnPattison To Rob, if you're REALLY holding people accountable, then show it by benching players who don't hustle or make too many errors or don't perform well...stop sayin you're excited 4 Kemp but then never play him. He'd be a better hitter than both Bohm & Stott if he'd play every day.

@jelynchjr Yeah Otto hit even better than him and we refuse to start him over career OPS .737 and .696 guys Bohm and Stott. Phillies just need to play Otto every day (alternate platoon 2B and 3B) and reap the rewards!

@JustinLever3 Replacing a career .737 OPS guy with a similar career .724 OPS guy is NOT the answer for the offense. We need to give Kemp EVERY DAY at bats...he'd hit better than Bohm, Stott, or Sosa could ever dream to. I'm telling you, if we put him in the lineup every day he hits .825+ OPS

@TheGoodPhight Stott was .760 OPS vs right...(.575 OPS vs left)... Bohm was .818 OPS vs left (.713 vs right). Kemp would hit higher than all of those OPS #'s vs BOTH lefties and righties...while we'd be slightly less inept when Bohm & Stott are in the lineup with their stronger split.

@TheGoodPhight I'd platoon him with Kemp the REST OF THE SEASON...along w/ Stott...I don't care how hot Stott or Bohm get...stick Kemp in the lineup EVERY DAY...play him at 3B against righties & 2B against lefties. I'm SICK of Bohm & Stott's career .737 & .696 OPS. I GUARANTEE Kemp hits better.

If Bohm goes hitless again today they need to rest him a day or two

@DavidEsser_ Yes...if he plays every day, he would work his way up to that. He has the power and the patience if he uses the same approach he used at AAA...he hits the ball way harder than Bohm or Stott and he hits to all fields. He was on pace for 35+ HR, 53 2B, 147 RBI, 29 SB.
