This is Tochukwu Chinedu Okere (TOSKA). He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2023 under the Labour Party (LP) platform to represent Owerri Municipal/Owerri North/Owerri West Federal Constituency of Imo State. He was a beneficiary of the Obidient movement during the 2023 elections. In 2024, he defected to APC. APC has denied him a ticket for 2027 & now he's in NDC. What do you say to him?

Bassey Akiba won the House of Representatives for the Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency of Cross River State. He was elected under LP in 2023 & benefited greatly from Obidient Movement. On December 5, 2024, he formally defected from the LP to the APC. On May 5, 2026, he defected from APC to NDC hoping to get NDC ticket for his re-election. He betrayed well-meaning Nigerians.

Donatus Mathew, an ex-Okada rider who won a House of Rep seat for the Kaura Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, was elected on the platform of the Labour Party in 2023. In December 2024, he officially defected to APC. Unfortunately, APC has denied him a ticket Nigerians must never give him a chance in NDC. We will keep posting them.

What exactly is happening to the movement once built around Peter Obi? In a stunning and deeply controversial announcement, a group claiming authority over the movement says the #Obidient Movement has now been dissolved, rebranded, and stripped of Obi himself, alongside his close ally Yunusa Tanko and the entire post-2023 leadership structure. Their accusation? That the movement was hijacked for “personal advantage,” “private gain,” and what they dramatically describe as “political prostitution.” The new group now calls itself the #OBEDIENT Movement, insisting it no longer has ties to Obi, the Labour Party, or any presidential candidate ahead of 2027. But this raises explosive questions. Who exactly owns a political movement born organically on the streets and online? Can a movement built around one man suddenly expel the very symbol that gave it life? Or are Nigerians witnessing something darker ' infiltration, sabotage, fragmentation… perhaps even a coordinated attempt to weaken one of the country’s most formidable opposition political bases ahead of 2027? And perhaps the biggest question of all: If the Obidient Movement itself is now at war over identity, leadership and loyalty, what does that mean for the future political relevance of Peter Obi himself?

In 2023, this guy rode on Peter Obi's popularity and obidients support to win the HoR for Oredo Federal Constituency under Labour Party. He was the first to move to APC and has now decamped to NDC. Be watchful of snakes.

Joshua Chinedu Obika is the House of Rep member representing AMAC/Bwari is also one of the people that rode on Peter Obi's popularity in the Labour Party in 2023 but dumped the party to APC. Now he's back to NDC because APC didn't give him a return ticket. Know the snakes around us.

Labour Party Politicians who won elections under the Obidient wave, later defected to APC, and are now being denied APC tickets are returning to join the NDC in the hope of riding on Peter Obi’s popularity again after betraying the movement. This is an abomination.

The way Hope Uzodinma is going, he might be the first Igbo president. He is loyal to the core, a party man, and one who understands dynamics of national politics. Hope Uzodinma is a friend to the North, South, West and well adored by his people in the East. He will become the next Senate President putting the Igbos on the map. He will be the Vice President inshallah and history will be kind enough to make him occupy that apex sit.

A LEADER AFRAID OF PRIMARIES CANNOT ASK NDI-IGBO TO RISK THEIR LIVES FOR HIS AMBITION. Ndi-Igbo will not put their lives on the line to defend the votes of a man who is visibly afraid of facing political primaries. God forbid. True leadership demands courage. A genuine leader must demonstrate that he is willing to stand with his people, even at great personal risk that he is ready to die for them if necessary. Unfortunately, Peter Obi has repeatedly shown that he does not possess this essential quality. Ndi-Igbo have seen enough. They are wiser now.

With Sandy Onor, a Christian, contesting under the PDP, Peter Obi will not be able to manipulate Christian voters the same way he did before. Atiku, being the only Northerner contesting in 2027, will have an advantage over other candidates. Obi have benefited from religious support in 2023, as he was seen as the main Christian candidate. Peter Obi will not attract Christian voters in 2027 like that of 2023, since he is not the only Christian contesting. Any Northern candidate in 2027 will receive more votes than any due to the presence of multiple Southern candidates.

Peter Obi is officially a weak Politician who cannot stay faithful to a course but jumps ship at the slightest challenge He ran from PDP, ran from LP and now from ADC So if trouble arises in NDC, he will run again This is the person that wants to lead Nigeria? What a shame.

The governors have no balls to defend you. Look at the vigilantes they created, they are all harassing the people but can't go into the bushes to confront Fulani herdsmen terrorists. Those communities that have witnessed first hand experience of how #ESN works give testimonies how professional they are. ESN operatives are dedicated men and women who are committed to securing the land, same land they come from, they cannot sabotage their own land. Only ESN can defend Biafraland against Fulani herdsmen terrorists and Jihadist Terrorists. Anyone that wants to see Nigeria work will not succumb to this pressure, but will instead stay there with other leaders and pressure the system from one single point. You have just divided the opposition–a second time in 5 years. That for me, as someone who made personal sacrifices, is the hallmark of desperation. I do not think anyone in that coalition was more deserving than you, not because you were the smartest of them all, but because all the logics favoured you: zone, numbers, religion and tribe, in all — reasonableness and fairness points every sincere mind to you. But leadership comes with these challenges and how you fight it determines how those making sacrifices for you will calculate their future around you. Politics is serious business. While money may water it for non-partisans, for the active ones, trust in the leadership is the only currency they see. Politics is a desperate venture, if you aren’t desperate, don’t step in! Nigerians are desperate for change, if you cannot mirror that desperation, do not step in! Our system is desperate for an overhaul, if you’re not that desperate, do not step in. Buhari came into politics in 2003 because of what happened to Hausa people in Lagos. He started his campaign on that front and as a northern messiah. He never pretended one day. Tinubu’s slogan pre 2023 was è mi lo kán, he never pretended about it. You are from one of the 3 major tribes in Nigeria, you keep pretending about that, and that is why leaders from your region aren’t buying in. They know politics and they understand that you must represent something. A Zik 2.0 will not work. Agree we are mutually different and build political trust on respect for those differences. That’s what Sir Ahmadu Bello told Zik back then and that stands as the most important truth for any presidential candidate. I supported you on the back of that sentiment when APC fielded MM ticket because for me it reflected arrogance and lack of mutual respect. The people established these courts, if the people have courageous leadership to lead them, the courts will submit to the will of the people, but you sir are not ready to take bullets for the people you want to lead. There’s plenty from where this anger is coming from, but take this first, until anyone comes here to provoke more and I’ll sharpen the pen.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Long before Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, @Ojukwu_Bianca became Ambassador, Minister, and now Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Minister, I had the privilege of accompanying her around the world as she represented our country on the global beauty stage. In those years, she was without exaggeration one of the most beautiful women on earth. Also the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Miss Intercontinental—a face that carried Nigeria's elegance into every room she entered. But what I saw then was not just beauty. It was poise. Intelligence. Grace under pressure. The unmistakable presence of a woman destined to serve. The years have only confirmed it. From her distinguished service as Nigeria's Ambassador to Spain and to Italy, to her tenure as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca has carried herself with the same dignity that defined her on the world stage decades ago; except now, the stage is diplomacy, and the audience is the entire international community. Today, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has elevated her to Minister of Foreign Affairs. Congratulations, Mr. President, on a truly excellent appointment. Nigeria's foreign policy is in safe, capable, and elegant hands. And I will say this without hesitation: I believe Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu will, in time, become the first elected female governor in Nigeria's history. The trajectory is unmistakable. The country will be the better for it. To my dear sister Bianca, the world has always looked up to you. Now it must listen to you.
