A fight over a comment about cigarette smoke turned into a shooting inside a Georgia Chick-fil-A.
Police say 44-year-old Jamaal Jenkins started arguing with another customer in line, calling him names and even using a racial slur. After the man punched him in the face, Jenkins allegedly pulled out a Glock 42 and fired three shots, hitting the victim in the chest.
Investigators say he then chased the victim and tried to keep shooting, but the gun malfunctioned. Police believe the victim may not have survived if the weapon hadn’t jammed.
The shooting happened inside a crowded Chick-fil-A in Snellville, Georgia. Jenkins is now facing multiple felony charges and remains in jail without bond.

1).That the study measured year over year from 2019-2022. It actually looks at stats from 2019-2023, the 56% rise comes specifically from 2022.
2)That Texas didn’t ban abortion till August 2022. It actually happened in September of 2021.
