And now I remember why I stopped using this App. Follow me on 🟦☁️ if you want to hear opinions of transportation; same @ and all that.

Because @RideUTA TRAX doesn't get signal priority, the light turned red right right as my Red Line approached Courthouse Station making 200+ riders have to wait for about 40 something drivers.

@BjaminWood As a stop gap, make use of the seldomly ridden F11 which currently terminates short of the capitol at the LDS Hospital. This would also allow the 209 diversion to be removed, making through riding much easier for all. x.com/AnalytiKroll/s…

Now seeing how poor ridership is in the Avenues, I believe it is also time to reroute the 209 back to its original route on South Temple. To still keep the Hospital and Smith's connected, I would extend the F11 to the Capitol via E St, and increase service from every 60-min to 30

@AnalytiKroll I agree the 200 would be better without the diversion, but the Capitol needs a connector and at least for now the 200 is the best we’ve got. Ideally we’d have a 200A and 200B scenario where the state street frequency is doubled

The 200 Bus doesn’t go to the Capitol on Saturdays, so instead of utilizing free fare high frequency transit, the Utah Historical Society has to create a parking shuttle for the Museam of Utah opening. Fail upon fail upon fail. #slc #utpol

@bikelakecity We were trying to avoid street riding at all costs and thought we could cut through as the fence doesn't show up on satellite imagery. Wife still has trauma from a cycling collision 3 years ago and those painted bike lanes on 500 N just don't cut it with her anymore.

@AnalytiKroll Next time, drop onto 500 North and use the alley connection through Backman. Much more reliable

@wdwmagic Hey @lynxbusorlando, now world be a really good time to increase service on the Route 300 bus route to at least every 15 minutes giving guests a frequent option to take the bus the parks that at least lets them pay a reasonable fare.

Resort bus verification at Disney Springs is expected to become permanent. Cast Members will scan MagicBands to confirm a valid resort stay, dining res, or recreation activity before boarding. Rollout expected before the July 4 holiday week.

Most of the bus network at Walt Disney World is now going to be paywalled behind an onsite hotel reservation or upcharge activity. There will be not even be an option for guests without either to pay a fare for said buses.

@cyclingutah @slcmayor @slcmoves I honestly prefer this over the implementation of the 300 West bikeway. I have multiple instances just in the past few weeks of drivers making right hand turns pulling out in front of me because they are only looking in the direction of car travel and not looking to their right.

Being the eastern-most frequent North-South route it does a great job at that purpose with ridership almost back to what it was prepandemic. But once it enters Salt Lake City it really peters out in an area it should excel even more in, which is why it is so disappointing to see.

🧵After taking the @RideUTA 209 bus to get between Sugarhouse and Salt Lake Central while the TRAX is down, it is quickly becoming my most despised bus route. Not only does it run a redundant schedule to the 2 but its scheduling and routing issues go further.

3 different @rideUTA buses, 2, 205, and 220, running along the same corridor getting into Main Street at the same time. 209 wasn't far behind either only a block behind my bus when I got off. This is why you end up waiting up to 12-15 minutes when there should be a bus every 5.

@olymasic @RideUTA @transitapp I have it set to arrive by my call time of 12p. By default it has me wait for the next bus but I can select the earlier bus manually.

Got my first work call of the season at UFCU Amphitheatre and am immediately reminded about the lack of service on the @RideUTA 54 bus. Driving there is shorter than just the 35-minutes I'd be waiting for my transfer, let alone when I'm actually on the train or bus.

@olymasic @RideUTA @transitapp This wouldn't be too much of an issue if the 54 actually stopped at UFCU and not a half mile away. But even with that I'd still have to arrive 28 minutes early as I'd otherwise be 2 minutes late, running down to hill to try and make it up.

@olymasic @RideUTA @transitapp Both Google Maps and Transit App want to get me there as close to my arrival time while being hamstrung by 1-hour headways on the FR, even if it means waiting for the next bus. This is more an issue with GTFS data for TRAX not showing up due to construction to fill in the gaps.
