Here’s the thing. There was absolutely 0 scenario the Bengals could have won with @getnickwright . 2 weeks ago TO THE DAY he released his mock draft. He had all the blue chip prospects off the board (most analysts do) so he had the Bengals selecting a tight end. The entire panel then mocked the Bengals for taking a tight end saying it would be a classic Bengals move. Now, the Bengals trade for one of the best interior D-lineman in the NFL. Nick, naturally, hates the move. If the Bengals reached and took a corner? He’d hate the move. Then they all would be posing the theory that Burrow wants out because the Bengals weren’t aggressive enough in fixing the defense. Or they would be dumping on the Bengals drafting ability. The Bengals viewed the board IN THE EXACT SAME WAY EVERYONE IS VIEWING THE BOARD. And decided to trade for a blue chip NFL player who is guaranteed to help them in the now and the next 3 years. The cherry on top was Manginis dumbass monologuing over a graphic comparing Dexter and Trey’s pass rush stats. Mine as well throw a graphic comparing Jamarr Chase and Derek Henry’s receiving stats.
