Hurdle rate for RoC is 12-13%. Who will launch the first Digital Credit Treasury business? Excluding simple passthrough tokens. Who is going to amplify their cash flowing business by compounding to $SATA / $STRC ? What industry? @PunterJeff @_Adrian

@WallStreetApes Sales tax is 100% effective in taxing all wealth classes. Income tax is a scam perpetuated on productive workers.

This is how Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos avoids paying a personal income tax - For the last 20 years he’s had the same salary, $82,000 - He does this because a higher salary that would support his lifestyle would be subject to payroll and income tax, he doesn’t want to pay that - Instead all his money is in his stocks, those are never subject to any taxes as long as they aren’t sold - He takes out a loan and borrows against his stocks - The only money he’ll ever had to pay is the loan and interest on the loan This is common practice for billionaires so they avoid the majority or all of a personal income tax

@_Adrian How does China continue to supply the world with products and also export Yuan denominated debt without the value of their currency rising?

The "situation" in Iran could hasten a Bretton Woods III (BW3) scenario. The caveat? The US may not be involved as it could be the dawn of the Petro-Yuan via the Strait of Hormuz

@wstickevers BW1. Dollar pegged to Gold, other currencies pegged to the dollar. BW2. Petrodollar System, oil producing nations are paid for crude exports in Dollars vs. their own currency. Likely the (unacknowledged) underlying cause of both Gulf Wars. Can go into so much detail on this...

@IIICapital @TimKotzman The combination is the key. Bitcoin secures the time value of digital credit. Digital credit enables profitable execution on real world projects over long time horizons despite reckless monetary policy. Storing value can change the future, using value can change today.

Digital Credit is simply a bridge to Bitcoin that everyone feels comfortable walking on. Bitcoin: can you plan 4+ years ahead? Few. Digital Credit: do you want income next month? All.

@PunterJeff The economy is rewiring before our eyes. What Bitcoin did for time value storage, digital credit will do for long-time horizon execution.

@Mykalt45 The incentives of fund managers are often structurally not well aligned to founders, teams, and patients. We need better funds.

And I’m still getting dissed, my guy Errik Anderson called me to say congrats. Mentioned explicitly that some fund laughing at my total deal value size. I’d rather take 3 of those is 5 years where founders own 10% and up front is significant (it is) and 10x versus $600M for a 3x-5x and 8-10 years. Haters are gonna hate. I’ll keep building and elevating folks my way.

And I have to say, there’s a “founder friendly” fund that turned me down twice and I hear consistently that others have had not so great experiences, so I did it myself with CrossBridge to a great outcome. Won’t go into specifics but my academic co-founders own as much as me, all my R&D team did very well, my SAFE investors made 17x, my Seed investors made 10x, and it was 1.5 years from Seed to Series A. That’s how it’s supposed to be done. Win win for absolutely everyone. That’s what I’m most proud of actually. So for those founders and first time CEOs struggling, know it can be done, and know I’m happy to help in any way! And one other tidbit. I got an email from a fund two days before we closed that they’re passing on my Series A. Our last correspondence was Jan 28. So, be resilient my friends and keep building!

Set the price of goods and services in local Bitcoin denominations, it doesn't need to mesh with fiat price reality. Shell beads worked well until those who don't understand the time value of money interdict. Bitcoin already set us free we just kept playing fiat games.

So when people talk about Saylor has too much coin or it's time to invalidate P2PK wallets, they are really thinking in globalist or fiat terms. You can pretty much use Bitcoin today to setup your own bitcoin->lightning->cashu monetary system and gain the security of 1.102 ZH/s.

Bitcoin is fungible, but you gain all the benefits of the whole network's security even if you limit your awareness to a subset of UTXOs. (Full block chain needed on your nodes though). This sort of segmentation could be useful for groups looking for a secure ledger.

@_Checkmatey_ Pretty simple to me. The P2PK coins are the global cryptography canary in the coal mine. As non holders gain enormous benefit from the incentive they provide.

Freeze 1.7M P2PK coins. Return ~1.7M coins in event of Coinbase custody hack. Would you support one, and not the other? They are walking the same centrally planned line.
