The only part you skipped is the reports from credible sources that Xabi Alonso made an important call to Marco Palestra yesterday to convince him into signing. Historically, all the Seria A gems naturally go to Juventus, Inter Milan or AC Milan.
Alonso officially starting on the 1st doesn’t mean he is not active or involved with transfer decisions beside the scenes.
