1/ Drugs made by plants. Manufacturing of biomolecules is expensive... but growing them can be cheap. A biotech is working on using low cost farms to manufacture new formulations of rare disease drugs.

Reading this paper that aims to identify DNAme loci that have a causal effect on ageing, and was struck by this part on IVF. seems like IVF newborns have higher DamAge (DNAme changes IDed as deleterious). Is there any effort to study / fix this? biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
