The woke academics are skewing toward extremely ideological interpretations of everything. Most people don't realize that even unbiased scientific evidence is always leading us to new interpretations of everything. Scientific evidence doesn't 'prove' or tell the truth; it only supports or refutes a hypothesis or theory. The findings of scientific inquiry were never meant to be treated as the Gospel. That kind of attitude, when applied to scientific investigation, is just dogma that produces shitty science and a basis for experimental authoritarian mandates. In the Soviet Union, they claimed to be basing their society on science. But I'm not sure if they even understood what it is, given that they called almost every subject a 'science.'
